Uploaded: 1/4/09This is from atop one of the medium-sized waterfalls. We thought it was interesting how it formed almost a perfectly straight edge there at the drop-off.

Uploaded: 1/4/09Checking my footing. I really wish I had captured the conditions of the trail better. I think I should have traded my work boots for ice skates for most of the journey.

Uploaded: 1/4/09It was almost as good as finding buried treasure. Only, it probably just saved me about $1 at the local used camera shop.

Uploaded: 1/4/09This isn't even a good example of what we had to go through... there was so much ice and snow, it really wasn't funny.

Uploaded: 1/4/09After Tom recovered my lens cap from the water miraculously, he managed to find it again when it popped off later randomly. I need to figure out a solution to my lens cap clumsiness.

Uploaded: 1/4/09The ledge of this waterfall had enough of an overhang, and the water was at high enough velocity, that we could walk under it. I can't wait to go back there in summer with my swimsuit.

Uploaded: 1/4/09It doesn't look like big globs of water to the naked eye, but my camera shows what's actually happening. Science, huh...
