I'd swear I've seen this exact picture before a bazillion times.

A neat little dropoff

This is from atop one of the medium-sized waterfalls. We thought it was interesting how it formed almost a perfectly straight edge there at the drop-off.

Checking my footing. I really wish I had captured the conditions of the trail better. I think I should have traded my work boots for ice skates for most of the journey.

It was almost as good as finding buried treasure. Only, it probably just saved me about $1 at the local used camera shop.

Maybe I'm just a sentimental dope when it comes to mother nature, but these falls were really inspirational.

This isn't even a good example of what we had to go through... there was so much ice and snow, it really wasn't funny.

After Tom recovered my lens cap from the water miraculously, he managed to find it again when it popped off later randomly. I need to figure out a solution to my lens cap clumsiness.

The ledge of this waterfall had enough of an overhang, and the water was at high enough velocity, that we could walk under it. I can't wait to go back there in summer with my swimsuit.

It doesn't look like big globs of water to the naked eye, but my camera shows what's actually happening. Science, huh...
